Sorry about some of the repetition from Friday and Saturday - I finish this column Saturday morning and not sure if it was added onto Friday's post after i read it or if i just didn't scroll down. Not that's it's not worth repeating:).

Thanks, Oliver. Friday I was put back into probation by the Jack Dorsey Correctional Facility. So, you know where to find me. Hopefully I’ll get off probation soon.
Oliver: no worries, just bustin' ya ballz...
Brian: repeat after me: "it takes the lotion from the basket and puts it on its skin."
The guards at Twitter Support never treat me to any lubricants when they get ready for another lockdown. There’s absolutely no warning.
Those fatties at Buffalo Bill’s had it made!
The Trailer:
I like the texture on Cerebus's fur, nicely done. At first Elrond's all white eyes were off-putting (I know it's fealty to the novel) but it sorta grew on me. His voice is nicely done. Body movement looked good though Cerebus's necklace appeared a bit too cartoony. It won't affect my viewing but seemed like something to point out.
The "pick your nose" line is great! Quite funny. Was that Dave's from the comic?
I like the texture of the wall, the coloring not so much. Good sound f/x and I like how the scene has no music.
The way it ends is perfect (aside from the cut off ending). It's funny without hitting you over the head with trying to be funny.
Far from an objective opinion, I like this trailer, I think it develops both characters well and could entice an audience; who is this little gray fellow, why is he locked up and so on.
I realize how challenging this undertaking is, well, let's say I can at least attempt to conceptualize the effort and time involved, let alone with people (I think) working on deferred payment.
I'm curious to see what parts you used and how you adapted them. Perhaps the biggest hurdle is acceptance of a non-family/all ages audience CG film; at least in the U.S. but I'm sure you're aware of all of this.
It's a true labor of love.
I wish you and your team well and give you a lot of credit for even making this movie.
cheers,
A Fake Name
Thank you so much - really appreciate it! And yep that line's from the comic:).
