So, I sent a Fax to Dave, and he faxed back. And here we go:
In other news,

Um...Little Orphan Aardvark  Secret Society stuff I deleted, because it's SECRET...

I got this email:
Dave Sim, greetings from the Bay Area, Ca. We are graffiti artists from back in the 1980's and our friend Andreas ("Thorn") pointed us to issue #127 and his "Thorn in the side of Germany"/Cerebus piece on the Berlin Wall.

We are releasing a not-for-profit oral history book on the origins of the graffiti scene here in the East Bay and we are hoping you might grant us permission to use a scan of the Berlin Wall spread from the October 1989 issue to include in Thorn's interview chapter.

Thank you and we hope all is good in your world.

I haven’t sent the “Dave Sim believes that Approval is an Authoritarian Construct, and he isn’t an Authoritarian, so feel free to use *insert whatever you requested here*.” reply yet, but I figure that’s gonna be your response.
And Dave says:
So, Will and Jake, "go nuts"...

Then:
And then, I got a comment on Weekly Update #56 from a M. Rasheed:
Dave wrote: "I won't make the Hajj to Mecca or, in fact, go to any Muslim country because they won't let the Jews in."

You're rejecting a command of the One God to make a secular political stance?

Dave wrote: "You are barring the descendants of Isaac from the 'Standing Place of Abraham' in the Sacred Mosque in Mecca?"

They're barring hostile disbelievers from the sacred site. Their patriarchal bloodline ties to the anointed builder are irrelevant (see: the point of the Christ's great miracle of having no earthly father, pbuh)

Dave wrote: "You won't even let them in your country?"

The temptation would prove too much for them.

Dave wrote: "And you plan on BRINGING THAT BEFORE G-D ON JUDGEMENT DAY?"

Is barring hostile disbelievers from the sacred site considered a formal sin? If the children of Israel believe the Ka'aba was built by the Semite patriarch, then they can convert to Al-Islam and visit the House during the Hajj or Umrah.

Just thought you should know.
And Dave says:

Nope. The caps were in Dave's original post.

Anyway, FIND THIS PAGE DANGNABIT!!!!!!:
Next Time: Kickstartery goodness...

How very strange that people won't accept Dave on their teams, just because he won't accept the rules of their sport.
