I sent Dave the responses to the Turtles 8 post, and an idea I had to do a collection of Josh's pieces thru the HERO Initiative. Dave responded thusly:

Just a few answers to some questions that may come up:

1) This was not an option offered during this campaign. Some backers chose to ask for it anyway, but not all backers may be aware that Dave has limited use of his drawing abilities due to an ongoing problem with his wrist and is unable to create commissions or even sketches.

2) LW, you got them signed twice.

3) The first 200 copies are being signed today.

4) Please do not ask to purchase any of these copies. Dave is very strict about the numbering on these Kickstarter issues. You paid a high price for a copy and there are only 325 that were purchased. There will be 325 copies. Period. While he is strict about the count, as you can see, he is also serious about customer satisfaction. If your copy is damaged in any way or if you are unhappy with what Dave wrote - or anything, really - just send the comic back to Dave and he will reprint your copy with the same number and re-sign it. Dave will send it back to you along with reimbursement of your shipping cost and the damaged copy will be destroyed. Yes, you just read all that above, but it's worth repeating because you aren't likely to get a better deal than that.
