Hermann #1 and CIH? Checklist

Benjamin Hobbs:

The CIH? 2020 schedule is once again in flux!

The newest addition to the 2020 line up is HERMANN #1, due out in December of 2020!

There have been several requests for an updated checklist.  Here it is!

The December solicit is being sent to Diamond tomorrow, so this checklist is locked in place.

Next Week: No idea. I'm hurriedly writing HERMANN #1 to meet that December release date...

Questions for Dave: Has there ever been a moment in your career when you have been rendered speechless? If not, what experience came closest to doing so. If “yes,” how and why?

Can someone tell us what this is a parody of, for us old farts?

Brian West said...

Sure, Tony it’s a parody of Rorschach #1 (OCTOBER 2020) by DC Comics. Recently there was controversy over the variant cover for the comic. The parody though is of the cover for original version.

Wonder if Jae Lee would be willing to do a variant cover of HERMANN #1?

Ah, that explains it - I haven't read any superhero or related comics (except Nexus, whenever Steve Rude drew it) since around 1987 or 88.

Happy to be of service, Tony.

I see you as AMoC's goodwill ambassador, Brian - always informative and good-natured. Sort of the anti-Damian. ;-)
I hasten to add that we need both of you, kind of like the "good" and "bad" Captain Kirk in "The Enemy Within." :-D

Thank you for the kind words, Tony. Much appreciated.

Man, Shatner *really* chewed the scenery during "The Enemy Within", and *that* is really saying something.

Okay, what I see, as a psychologist who was *very* well trained and experienced in administering the Rorshach inkblot subjective tests, is someone touching an aardvark in a "bad way".

Also, an erect penis.

Oh, yeah, and dead leaves.

Because there are *always* dead leaves.
