Hi, Everybody!
First things first, I gotta do a little Death's Dark Tread cleaning:
Then the day BEFORE the Auction, Dave sent me:

We lost. Big Time. We didn't even raise enough to buy the Will Eisner complete story. I was so disappointed I made a shirt to commemorate our loss. If you wait a bit, it'll be on sale:
Up to 35% off site-wide:

Tell your fans! Remind them that everything will be up to 35% off -- that means $13 tees, $20 phone cases, $30 hoodies, and way more!
And SPEAKING of buying Original Cerebus Art, Steve let me know: Gerhard is Auctioning off five pages:
I wanted to send a message out to all those people who participated in past Gerhard ComicArtFans sales to alert you to some special Cerebus original art pieces that will be coming up for sale next week in Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction taking place from June 21-24. With the ever-changing original art market and to make it as fair as possible, these will be offered up via auction. Bidding for all five pieces will conclude on Day 4 of the auction (Friday, June 24th). Links to each piece are below.

I asked the Dark Treaders if they wanted to get the Band back together.
That was a no...

Sean Robinson and Living the Line, publishers of the Eisner nominated The Strange Death of Alex Raymond, have a new book, and it's on the Kickstarter. 14 days left. And then they've ALSO got a new series with Carson Grubaugh The Abolition of Man #1. It's a comic "drawn" by an AI. I did a Dall-E:

That’s very generous Dave, thank you so much. It’s great that we can now capture a scan of any original artwork that makes it’s way through Heritage, even with what has been captured now the cost of equipment has been justified.
It’s my privilege and pleasure to have helped how I could.
I’ve added in a donation at ‘Cerebus Downloads’ to cover off postage for this gift. The portfolio itself is a treasure, the cover drawing is a rare treat that I’m humbled to receive, but I don’t want to cost A-V the postage for such a thing (there is always a better place for money to go to other than postage!).
Thanks again.
Dion
Well deserved, Dion and the rest of the contributors. I've got a new scan of the cover to issue 3 to work with for the remastered version and it is miles ahead of what was previously available. Between that and the entire issue 4 it's been quite the consoling treat despite not winning the original art auction. Everybody that wants to will still be able to see the original art in a CAN-style portfolio. The closest you can get to the original art without owning it.
