Mondays:
Sometimes I'm okay with "Grandpa" forgetting how the Fax works...
Anyway, I let him know that he "left the house without pants...again" and got this from Damnit Birdsong!:
Hey, since I'm posting Faxes, here's another depressing one:
I asked Nate "The GODDAMN Batman!" Oberstein, and The Last Day has TWO printings:
See? Over on the right... |
A signed & numbered First Printing in June of 2004. And an UNsigned & UNnumbered second printing done at the same time.
So, MATT'S question to Dave/Eddie/whoever is: What was that first print run, and how long did it last?
Also, Eddie? Price it at $35 USD.
(The comments on this one is gonna be good, ain't it?)

My buddy James Windsor-Smith has a Kickstarter. You might remember him as the guy who had a stroke or two and sent Dave a Cerebus Sketchbook full of Cerebus drawings he did AFTER the second stroke. He's looking for $2000, and he's just about halfway there on Day TWO. Help a 'brudda out.

Hey remember the Remastered Form & Void?
Greetings backers,
Form & Void is officially in the hands of the printer!
We don't have a delivery date yet but as soon as we know when they're coming we will post an update.
Everything else related to this project has been printed so it's just down to the actual books.
For those of you that are interested, we are only producing 400 deluxe books. 200 hardcover and 200 softcover. We have a limited number still available for pre-order on the Waverly Comics website in different bundle options. Link: https://waverlycomics.com
Thank you for backing this project!
If YOU have anything related to the 1982 Tour, that'd be of interest, shoot me an email at momentofcerebus@gmail.com and I'll get it to the Waverly Press.

Living the Line got a new series with Carson Grubaugh The Abolition of Man #1. It's a comic "drawn" by an AI.
They also published The Strange Death of Alex Raymond, which has the website of annotations.
The Strange Death of Alex Raymond didn't win an Eisner. They'll tell you all about it:

Next Time: Ben wants your money. Dave wants your money. Me? I just want to see ya smile...

Did Dave just use an emoji at the end of his fax to Eddie?!?
Jen,
Yeah, most likely.
"Grandpa" occasionally remembers that we've "drank the Kool aid" and take him a lot more seriously than we probably should...
Manly
What does that mean for the Waverly hardcover editions? I thought that they pulled their signatures directly from the same print run as the trades. Or am I misremembering that detail?
Kopperman's right, Waverly's been doing HCs at the same time as when AV puts out a remastered phonebook. Does this mean they'll be doing Last Day next (as soon as Form & Void comes out)?
