#7 this week became my immediate "new favourite" CIH? Sandeep strip when I read it. Read it two or three times and LOL each time.

I like these strips, but I find that they leave me with a longing for a greater exploration of Estarcion lore (something canonical), especially if it involves Cerebus in some capacity, so I guess CIH plays out as a bit of a bittersweet tease for me.

Speaking of Estarcion, the word is not mentioned one single time on the Cerebus the Aardvark official wikipedia page. If one types 'Estarcion' in the wiki search, it redirects to the Cerebus entry, but the word itself is not present anywhere in the body of the article (at least not that I could see in combing over it a few minutes ago). I think the Cerebus entry should be updated to include the name of the world that comic takes place in, and that Estarcion should then have its own entry, like Middle Earth (which has a massive entry) for instance.

Funny stuff, guys. I especially liked the John Lennon one.

Okay, this week's suggested corrections are all punctuation:

Strip 2, panel 2, balloon 1, line 4--insert either a comma or a semi-colon after BIT. I prefer a semi-colon here.

Strip 2, panel 4, balloon 2, line 4--either a period or a semi-colon after YOU works better than the comma.

Strip 4, sidebar, line 3--delete the period after LIFE, especially since the part in quotes is deemed a phrase and not a sentence. Insert a comma after LIFE. The period just looks awkward.

Okay, that's it. Not too painful, right? Keep up the funny stuff. And, thank you for that!

Hmmm... I think these are starting to grow on me...
The Mazzukiah/Protias wrestling match, as called by Cerebus... HILARIOUS.

Wow. Can't believe people like the Mazzukiah/Protias wrestling match. Swear it took me five seconds. Thanks for putting up with the G&S one. Swear I'll never do another one that long again.

Loved the G&S strips. LOVED them!!! Why, they were the very model of a...er, something or other.

Hrrumph.

Jeff,

I believe that's spelled "harrumph".

Yoko is NOT okay with that Sandeep. Just listen to how upset she is...

"YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI!"

Or... wait... maybe that means she's happy?

"YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI!YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI! YI!"

Uh... I have NO idea. Sally forth, sir.

Mike, you say "puhtayto(e)" and I say "poetahto(e)". Let's just agree to disagree, throw out the next item, and repair to McGinty's down the street.

Yeah, that's what your mom told me, but look what happened, she's back every night.

(I...I'm such a bad person. I even brought in moms!)

(I apologize for the crude nature of the joke. Um...Cerebus made me do it. Yeah, that's it!)

Liked the Lennon one, especially the side comment. And that wrestling one IS amusing.

As to Jeff's corrections, for #2 panel 2, I say use a period there. Semi-colons are bastard punctuation and should be shot!

Also, I think the speech would flow better there with a full stop.

Panel 4, I say period or even exclamation point.

And agreed on the #4 sidebar correction. That strip was very funny as well!
