The ol' AMOC Mailbag is chock full of goodness:

First up, The Waverly Press (who are running a new Non-Cerebus Kickstarter) sent an update on the Remastered Cerebus #1 Kickstarter:

Hello backers!

We spent the past few weeks finishing the samples and proofs ensuring the everything is of the highest quality. Yesterday the books went to print and we expect things to move smoothly. Due to the pandemic there are still slowdowns on the production side but our printer does not anticipate any major delays. Should any unforeseen delays arrive we will let you know.

We got an early jump on the "Extras" and happy to report that everything else aside from the books have been produced and delivered. Photos below...


As you'll notice the Cloisonné pins were produced using black nickel instead of traditional gold metal, and though the nickel was more costly to produce we feel it captures Dave's line art beautifully. The 3" vinyl stickers couldn't be nicer and the postcards look killer, utilizing the same art that will appear on the poster.


Next are the 7 trading cards. The design is a modified version of Dave original 1982 design for a set of trading cards that were never produced. We're happy to finally get them made and these 7 are the first of (hopefully) a larger collection of Cerebus cards to come.


Lastly is the proof edition of the 24 page version of the remastered Cerebus No. 1. Only 50 individually numbered copies of this edition were produced and one of you may get this very copy, lucky number 23. Also, this is the only remastered edition of the book that comes with the $1 cover price. The final production copies will come with a $10 cover price. This is Cerebus No. 1, published as Dave intended way back in 1977, and it's fantastic!

We have some other things to show like posters and prototypes which will be revealed between now and delivery of the finished books at the end of July (fingers crossed). Our plan is to have everyone's orders dispatched in August, just in time for our next BIG Cerebus announcement, so stay tuned!

I did a Google search on Petuniacon, no images of this came up.

It's 3 foot by 4 foot, thin non-glossy paper, art by Valentino.
