Hi, Everybody!
Has gotten "the notices" (that means reviews, for those of you not in "Theatre"...)
You can argue with me, but you can't argue with Status:
Binge Fringe is "Platforming unheard voices, visiting unseen corners." (I dunno what that means exactly, but it sounds important...)
Anyway, we're all VERY proud of how Jen is doing (actually, that's not true. Dave has no idea about any of this, having no phone or fax. Hobbs is wondering how many more episodes of Paw Patrol he has to watch until his kid leaves for college. Margaret wants to know how the @#*! she can get a month off! And Birdsong wants help writing Necrophilia jokes. But I'm damn proud of Jen! So, proud I'm still gonna do this shit until she get back...)
You can get reports straight from Jen's mouth if you follow her on the 'gram.
Any anyway, that means I'ma still doing her bit:

As Jen has copy/pasted from her last post:
4) Last time I posted, I discussed raffle tickets were going to go for $5 a pop and no one complained, so let it be written, so let it be done. I also mentioned that all donations since the last raffle will be included, meaning we have 97 raffle tickets sold so far. If we break 150 tickets, I'll toss another Silverspoon page into the bucket.
And Jen always says:
The Strange Death of Alex Raymond New Mockups Preview
If you haven't read The Strange Death of Alex Raymond before, we have an eight-page trailer that Dave did back in 2018: Part One | Part Two
Then the Dave Sim portion of the hardcover, presented four pages at a time:
This,
And this.
If you want to see how Carson Grubaugh finished the hardcover, well, you're going to need to purchase a copy of your own. HOWEVER, if you want to see how Dave Sim continued the story in the blue pages -- bring me the blue pages -- mockups that appeared in blue ink in final section of the hardcover can be found here...
This,
Then in June 2021, Dave picked up the story again and it continues here, here, here, here, and here.
If you enjoy the journey, you can join us for all the new pages on Dropbox by donating $5 or more.
Jen x
And since I gotta justify posting on a Tuesday:
My friends at the Waverly Press (whose comic site is gone. Big books (Form & Void and The Last Day) are at Waverly's regular site: [https://www.thewaverlypress.com](https://www.thewaverlypress.com/) Smaller books (comics and the goodies) are on their eBay page: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?item=257022613619&rt=nc...), sent me:
We were contacted by an artist in Taiwan, Joshua Warren, who is a Cerebus fan and comics creator. He is creating original art covers on the blank cerebus #1 and Turtles 8 books. He sent some photos and I said I'd pass his info along in case anyone is interested.
He's only charging $30 which includes the book, and they're nice!
His Cerebus art cards are only $10.

Hey, that's our buddy J. Toons.

I guess "Eye-Watering Stuff" means it's a tear-jerker in Scottish (Celtic? Gaelic?) but maybe part of her show involves chopping spicy raw tomatoes. Anyway, good on Jen and may it lead to greater things for her but I sure look forward to reading those ashcans someday.
"Eye-Watering" usually means when you get kicked in the balls....
Craig is right -think Trainspotting, not Beaches- so definitely a compliment ;-)
It would be Scots, not Gaelic, but the phrase is a common English one https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/eye-watering
