$20,808 @ 1:29 pm THANK YOU, EVERYONE!

Talking it over with Alfonso as we looked at the Canada Post options on his computer, yesterday,  you can tell he's been in business a while.  He's going to design a Cerebus stamp and order a sheet and just see how it works and where there are any problems and impediments.

Afterwards, I thought, well, I'll create a letter of authentication on A-V stationery and we'll auction that "first sheet of CEREBUS Canada Post stamps" on eBay and see how it does.  Because one sheet of stamps is going to be (relatively speaking) expensive.

Dave, as you know, I'm never afraid to throw a wrench in the works so, here goes:

I'll do a "buy it now", right now, bid of $200 for the First Sheet of Cerebus Stamps (with letter of authenticity).

Anybody wanna outbid me?

BTW, I mean *right now*--skip E-Bay altogether.

$200 U.S.?

Sure. Even though I just won the MLB charity auction item of The Ultimate Broadcast Experience--a day at Kaufmann Stadium hanging out with all of the Royals broadcasters and going onfield for batting practice, and it cost me a pretty penny--I think I could swing a couple hundred.

Wait, which is more? US$200 or CAN$200? That always confuses me.

Jeff - Okay, here's a hint: I will gladly send you 1 for 1 Canadian dollars for as many U.S. greenbacks as you care to send up here! :)

Okay! Let me cut open the mattress and see what I've got.

I'll...um...get back to you...

Actually, speaking of the exchange rate, our American pledge partners are still getting a pretty solid 25% or so off because we charge in Canadian dollars. I keep meaning to ask: do you get billed when you pledge or do you get billed when the Kickstarter ends? Because someone who pledged early in the campaign would be a few dollars ahead of someone getting billed today.

You get billed when the KS campaign ends, usually within a few hours. That's why I double-checked my checking account balance a coupla hours ago.

Yup. Maybe even enough to up my pledge...
